The 'I Can Run (EPC) + Health' project from Ansião received the 1st Prize in the “Collaborative Governance and Partnerships” category at the VI National Meeting of Care Integration, held in Elvas on October 2nd.

The award was received last Friday, October 2nd, during the meeting held in Elvas. The EPC + Health project, focused on the senior community, is one of the branches of the National March and Run Program of Ansião and takes place weekly, on Thursday mornings, in partnership between the municipality and the Community Care Unit of Ansião (UCC Nabão).
The Councillor for Sport of the Municipality of Ansião, Sérgio Pires, was present to highlight the project's journey and acknowledge the work of the municipal sports technicians and health professionals from UCC Nabão. He also thanked the parish councils for their collaboration, especially in transportation, and private social solidarity institutions for encouraging sports practice for the well-being of seniors.
Pires expressed his "great pride in being part of such a beautiful project", emphasizing the initiative's importance to the local authority.
