The Days of Greater Life - Aging with Health initiative, which took place from October 1st, concluded on Friday afternoon, October 9th, with the presentation of the revista show “Sempre que a Revista Canta!”. The cast included names such as Cidália Moreira, Maria Tavares, Vítor Emanuel, and Bárbara Santos. The stage was set up in the corporate hall of the Ansião Business Center, located in the Camporês Business Park.
This cultural event was attended by approximately 500 seniors, including users from the seven institutions in the municipality and community members. The occasion was filled with joy, comedy, and good music, concluding with a social gathering and refreshments.
The program for the Days of Greater Life - Aging with Health included various activities throughout the week, such as a special session of the program [Eu Posso Correr + Saúde], the [Senior Walk] to Ribatejo, craft workshops, musical moments in the institutions, and a yoga session aimed at professionals who work daily with the elderly, as a recognition of their fundamental role.
All these activities were united by the same purpose, as highlighted by the Councilor for Social Action, Maria Goreti Correia: “to promote well-being, combat isolation, strengthen bonds, and value the place of our seniors in the community".
The Municipality of Ansião thanks all participants, institutions, Parish Councils, partners, and all the teams involved in the realization of this week.
