Approximately 90 preschool children from Ansião visited the Municipal Hall today to uphold the tradition of asking for 'bolinhos', welcomed by the Mayor, Jorge Cancelinha.

This morning, around 90 children from the Ansião Kindergarten and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Ansião fulfilled the tradition of going for 'bolinhos' at the Municipal Hall. On the eve of All Saints' Day, celebrated on November 1st, the Mayor of Ansião, Jorge Cancelinha, received the visit of these children who, in addition to their characteristic energy, also brought music.
Alongside the singing of the typical “Oh auntie, give us 'bolinhos'!”, Halloween costumes also helped to color this moment. The Municipality of Ansião appreciates the participation that contributes to perpetuating a tradition observed worldwide at this time of year, with unique characteristics in different parts of the globe.
