Following the visit by the Evaluation Committee for the nautical station certification application last week, the Municipality of Gouveia has received approval for the Alto Mondego – Gouveia Nautical Station project. The certification ceremony took place this morning in Oeiras.
The session was attended by the Municipality's President, Vice-President, and Sports Technician, confirming the advancement of the proposal intended to leverage the municipality's water resources. The Alto Mondego – Gouveia Nautical Station represents an opportunity to strengthen the region's tourism appeal and boost the local economy by valuing its resources and creating new opportunities related to nautical and nature tourism.
