The village of Folgosinho is preparing to host another edition of the Mountain Flavors Festival, an initiative that celebrates the gastronomy, local products, and traditions that define this Mountain Village. The event is part of the Action Plan for the PROVERE Aldeias de Montanha 2030.
Over three days, the flavors and knowledge that form part of the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the municipality of Gouveia will be highlighted. The full program for the 2026 edition will be announced soon.
The Mountain Flavors Festival is promoted by the Freguesia Council of Folgosinho and supported by the Municipality of Gouveia, the Network of Mountain Villages, the Gouveia Institute – Professional School, and various local associations, including the Folgosinho Hunting and Fishing Club, the Festival Committee in Honor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help 2027, the Folgosinho Common Land Committee, the Folgosinho Concertina Group (Harmonia Divertida – Association), the Voluntary Firefighters Humanitarian Association of Folgosinho, the Folgosinho Home Association, Folgonatur, and the Folgosinho Folk Song and Dance Group.
