The II Multicultural Encounter in Pampilhosa da Serra celebrated cultural diversity and promoted integration, bringing together around 60 participants last Saturday, October 17th, at the Student Residence.

The initiative, driven by the CLDS 5G Pampilhosa da Serra project, was attended by the Vice-President of the Municipal Council, Alexandra Tomé, who reaffirmed the municipality's commitment to the welcome and integration of all who choose the area to build their future.
The encounter began with a performance by the Grupo Musical Fraternidade Pampilhosense. This was followed by an information session «Cheguei a Portugal e agora?» (I arrived in Portugal, now what?), focused on regularization and staying in national territory, led by Yuliya Korotenko (CLAIM of Lousã) and Luísa Batista (FAMI of Lousã).
The program concluded with a shared snack, offered by the Parish Councils of the municipality, which provided a moment for conviviality and exchange of experiences among attendees.
This was the second of four encounters, within the scope of the activity Gestor do Migrante (Axis 1 of the CLDS 5G project – Employment, Training and Qualification), reinforcing the importance of welcome and inclusion in building a community where diversity brings people and cultures closer.
