The Municipality of Góis, through its Municipal Library, organized riddle sessions for the senior population from the council's five IPSS, as part of the "Ecos do Passado: À Conversa com…" project.

The initiative, which took place within the "Ecos do Passado: À Conversa com…" project, aimed to stimulate participants' cognitive abilities and value oral tradition. The activities combined memory, knowledge, and social interaction, inspired by the book "Qual é coisa, qual é ela?" by Luísa Ducla Soares.
Seniors were challenged to find answers to a set of riddles, exercising their memory, attention, and reasoning. The participants themselves also shared riddles they knew, posing new challenges to others and reviving expressions and knowledge passed down through generations.
Amidst questions, answers, and moments of good cheer, the activity fostered interaction and knowledge sharing, making space for each participant's memories and experiences.
Through this initiative, the "Ecos do Passado: À Conversa com…" project reinforces the appreciation of collective memory and local traditions, recognizing the role of the senior population in preserving and transmitting intangible heritage.
