The chapter dedicated to Medronho was coordinated by ESAC/CERNAS lecturer and researcher, Goreti Botelho, and by researcher from the same center, Filomena Gomes, with the collaboration of several other authors from ESAC and other institutions.
The publication, to be presented within symposium 5 of the congress, is edited by researchers from the Forest Studies Center (Instituto Superior de Agronomia), Margarida Tomé and Tiago Lima. Besides Medronho, the book covers topics such as Cork, Chestnut, Pine Nuts, Resin, Acorns, Sap, Honey and Beekeeping, Game, Macrofungi, Forest Grazing, Traditional Orchards, and Fungi and the Forest.
