The event kicked off on Friday, September 25th, with the Skill Test by Liqui Moly, held in Figueira da Foz itself. On Saturday morning, participants began their journey towards Torres Vedras, with municipal representatives marking the start.
Along the route, the centenary vehicles traverse some of Portugal's most emblematic roads, passing through Mafra and Estoril, before arriving in Lisbon on Sunday. The initiative offers a historical journey through the early decades of motoring.
Among the historic models present are a 1912 Sunbeam 12/16 Copa de L’Auto, a 1913 Hispano-Suiza Alfonso XIII, a 1916 Diatto 20HP, a 1922 Bugatti Brescia, and a 1933 Aston Martin Le Mans.
This year's edition also stands out for its growing number of international participants, with teams from Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Greece, reinforcing the international dimension of the Founders' Race and Figueira da Foz's role as a starting point for automotive heritage events.
