Figueira da Foz will be the stage for the 5th European Beach Ultimate Championships (EBUCC 2026), from October 16 to 18, gathering more than 1,000 athletes.

The city of Figueira da Foz is preparing to host the largest edition ever of the European Beach Ultimate Club Championship. The event, running from October 16 to 18, is organized by BULA, the European Flying Disc Federation, and the Portuguese Flying Disc Association (APUDD).
More than two decades after the first BULA World Beach Ultimate Championships were held in the same location, the sands of Praia da Figueira da Foz will once again be the center of a major European Ultimate Frisbee event, celebrating the sport, competition, and fair play.
This fifth edition, the largest to date, reflects the sport's growth and increasing competitiveness at the continental level. Figueira da Foz will host the battle for the European club champion title, with over 1,000 athletes from 63 teams representing 21 European nations competing.
The EBUCC 2026 serves as the year's final showcase for Ultimate Frisbee. The competition will feature three divisions: Mixed, Women's, and Open. The Mixed and Open divisions will each have 24 teams, while the Women's competition will include 15 teams, the highest number ever recorded in this category.
