The acquisition replaces an old backhoe loader with over 20 years of service, which was obsolete and experiencing operational issues. This investment is crucial for ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of the Municipal Ecocenter, responding to the needs of a municipality with strong demographic growth and increasing waste production. The new machine may also be used for external services, particularly in landfill interventions.
Pedro Cardoso, Chairman of the Board of Directors of INOVA-EM, highlighted the importance of this acquisition. "This is another investment that aligns with what we have been communicating: this municipal company is undergoing a period of restructuring and modernization, where several pieces of equipment need to be renewed so that we can continue to provide the excellent services we have been offering to the population. We are preparing INOVA-EM for future challenges, providing better working conditions for our teams and ensuring the reinforcement of the response capacity of our field teams," he stated.
