The morning was dedicated to a global training session that brought together the club's various athlete groups, from competitive to youth and veteran levels, promoting the GiraSol spirit. The day also included official photographs and a convivial lunch, marked by an atmosphere of friendship and unity.
In the afternoon, the gala recalled the 2025/2026 season, described as fantastic and with many reasons to smile. The excellent work of GS Athletics was highlighted, projecting the Municipality and elevating national and international athletics.
The importance of the event was recognized by the present entities: Eng. Gonçalo Gaspar (Director of Gira Sol), Mr. Carlos Lote (President of the Junta de Freguesia of Febres), Dr. Adérito Machado (Sports Councilor of the Municipal Chamber of Cantanhede), and Dr. João Pontes (President of the District Association of Athletics of Coimbra). They committed to collaborating in GS's success and in organizing high-level events in the municipality.
The gala honored athletes, coaches, and members of the GS family, highlighting District Champions, national participations, and podiums. Special thanks were extended to sponsors and collaborators: @Bem-Lhe-Quer, @Brico-Cscho, and Crédito Agrícola de Cantanhede.
The participation of the dance group @UMove Dance Studio, @Cheila Cosme, and @Bianca Loureiro enriched the event, bringing magic and local talent to the stage. The organization congratulated everyone involved, expressing optimism for the future.
