The show included a performance by Bombos de Lavacolhos, connecting fashion with Fundão's cultural roots, and concluded with fadista Bia Caboz, reinforcing the designer's ties to his hometown.
Miguel Gavinhos, Mayor of Fundão, praised Carlos Gil's "creative vein" and his consistent "valuing of his origins". "Carlos Gil is one of Fundão's great ambassadors," stated the mayor, emphasizing that the designer's fashion and creative vision "elevate Fundão's name beyond borders" and act as a "driving force for the territory's attractiveness and value".
Gavinhos added that by "anchoring his talent and brand in this territory", Carlos Gil demonstrates that the region "has all the conditions to retain talent and generate distinct economic and cultural value", projecting Fundão's name to new audiences.
