Six parishes in Carrazeda de Ansiães have been included in new support measures for the recovery of agricultural productive potential, a national initiative with a budget of 10 million euros for farmers affected by the 2026 fires.

The parishes of Linhares, Marzagão, Parambos, Seixo de Ansiães, and the Union of Parishes of Lavandeira, Beira Grande and Selores and Vilarinho da Castanheira are covered by this initiative. The aim is to restore the necessary conditions for the resumption of agricultural activity in holdings affected by fires that occurred between May 1 and October 15, 2026.
This measure, integrated into the PEPAC, is intended to mitigate the losses suffered by farmers. Interested parties should consult the conditions and application deadlines on the PEPAC portal. Application does not exempt from submitting the damage declaration to the competent territorial CCDR.
