The Municipality of Mealhada has opened the competition for the Citizenship in Education Award, for the 2025/26 academic year, with separate application deadlines for civic and academic merit.

The competition for the Citizenship in Education Award of the Municipality of Mealhada for the 2025/26 academic year is now open. The initiative aims to recognize and reward civic and academic merit in education.
For the Civic Merit Award, applications can be formalized until November 21st. Students, educational and training institutions (public or private), parents and guardians, or the general community can apply.
Nominations for the Academic Merit Award will be made directly by each of the public or private secondary or equivalent educational and training institutions located in the Municipality of Mealhada.
