The University of the Azores (UAc) registered high demand in the second phase of the National Higher Education Access Competition, with 91.2% of the available places already filled.

In the recent application phase, UAc received 592 applications for the 137 available places, resulting in the admission of 77 students. The highest score for the last admitted student under the general contingent reached 18.5 points, achieved in the Basic Cycle of Medicine, reflecting the high merit of the admitted students. By summing the enrollments from the first phase with the results now released, UAc consolidates the occupation of over 91% of its total places.
The demand for UAc also extends to other admission pathways. To date, 121 students have already enrolled through special competitions, which are designed for candidates with different backgrounds and profiles. The university extends its welcome to all new students, wishing them success in this new phase of their academic life.
