The initiative, organized by the Viola da Terra Youth Association since 2019, will be held at the Nordeste Municipal Center for Cultural Activities, starting at 9:00 PM.
This year's commemorative concert is a co-production between the Association and the Nordeste Municipal Chamber. The event will feature a group of Tocadores da Lomba da Fazenda, the Engengroaldenga Project from Santa Maria, and the Duo Toadas from Ribeira Quente.
The main objective of the event is to continue the Viola da Terra Youth Association's strategy of decentralizing its activities. It also aims to integrate groups with different musical characteristics, offering a diverse and dynamic concert. The initiative seeks to showcase the work being done on the Island and in the Region to promote the Viola, encouraging participants on the importance of continuing their essential daily work.
