The Executive of the Santa Cruz da Graciosa Municipal Council visited the parish of Guadalupe for the "Council Close to You" initiative, addressing school renovations and improvements to the Sports Field.

The Executive of the Santa Cruz da Graciosa Municipal Council held another "Council Close to You" initiative yesterday in the parish of Guadalupe, reinforcing direct monitoring of local needs.
The visit began at the Guadalupe Primary School, where renovation and expansion works are underway. This project will provide the building with better conditions for teaching, through the construction of a new classroom, the replacement of the water supply network and sanitary facilities, the renovation of telecommunications and the electrical system, as well as the installation of new window frames to enhance the acoustic and thermal comfort of the school environment. The Executive also addressed the planned intervention for the Vitória Primary School, which includes the exterior painting of the building.
At the Guadalupe Sports Field, planned improvements were identified, including painting of the stands, changing rooms, and infirmary. The presence of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was also highlighted, reinforcing the safety of users of this sports facility.
The day concluded at the Vitória Waterfront, in a moment of contact with the population, listening to concerns and gathering contributions, reaffirming the commitment to close, transparent, and collaborative municipal management.
