The Angra 4 Patas initiative, taking place from October 2nd to 5th in Angra do Heroísmo, aims to raise awareness about animal welfare and value the relationship between humans and companion animals.
The free and open-to-all event brings together dogs, breeders, associations, and animal lovers. The program includes lectures, walks, exhibitions, demonstrations, and social gatherings, with highlights such as the 20th Monographic of the Barbado da Terceira and the 7th and 8th National Dog Shows of Angra do Heroísmo.
Participants can enjoy a walk in the Canine Park, dog training demonstrations, a parade of animals from associations, a contest for adopted animals, and activities like Spa Day Patudo and Photo Booth. Musical and theater performances also complement the offerings.
