The eGuard program, developed in collaboration with the National Republican Guard (GNR), aims to increase the safety and support for elderly individuals living alone, who are vulnerable, or dependent. Currently, 16 devices have been distributed to residents in the municipality, ensuring continuous support and peace of mind for users.
The main objective is to enable seniors to remain in their own homes, maintaining their autonomy and connection to the community. The service, operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, provides rapid assistance in emergency situations and personalized support.
Beyond safety, eGuard also combats isolation and loneliness, promoting the well-being, quality of life, and self-esteem of beneficiaries. Through this initiative, the Municipality reaffirms its commitment to protecting the elderly population, investing in proximity solutions for a safer and more inclusive community.
