The School of Health of Viseu was present at IndustriaTech+AI 2026, an event held in Viseu on September 29th. The institution was represented by professors Odete Amaral and Ricardo Pais.
Virtual reality goggles were one of the main points of attraction, allowing students, participants, and speakers to experience the technology and explore its applications in healthcare. This experience provided moments of curiosity, participation, and sharing, opening new perspectives for health communication and promotion.
The day was marked by the VR goggles experimentation, an interesting lecture, and interaction with various participants, fostering an environment of learning and idea exchange on health, technology, and innovation in the age of artificial intelligence.
Virtual reality demonstrates significant potential for nursing education and for how we communicate and promote health, building new learning experiences at the intersection of knowledge, technology, and people.
