The Municipality of Armamar has been included in the list of 78 eligible councils for the second edition of the Partnership Support Program – Art and Territorial Cohesion, promoted by the Directorate-General for the Arts (DGARTES).

The initiative, which allocates one million euros to support artistic and cultural projects, has applications open until November 6, 2026. The program aims to bring more cultural activities to areas with less artistic offerings, encourage public participation, and value local traditions.
Selected projects may receive grants of 25,000 or 50,000 euros, with funding planned for at least 20 applications. Cultural associations, artists, artistic groups, and other entities with professional artistic activity can apply.
The grants cover various fields, including music, theatre, dance, circus, photography, visual arts, street arts, digital arts, and traditional arts and crafts. Funding is available for the creation of performances, organization of cultural events, artistic workshops, and other community participation initiatives.
The program also values collaboration with local entities and projects that preserve and promote cultural heritage and traditions. Supported projects will have a duration of 18 to 24 months, with execution planned between April 2027 and March 2029.
Applications must be submitted by 5:59 PM on November 6, 2026, through the DGARTES platform (https://apoios.dgartes.gov.pt/). Further information can be obtained via email at candidaturas@dgartes.pt or by phone at 210 102 540.
