The 2026 edition of Halloween in São Martinho de Anta has solidified its status as a landmark event, attracting an increasing number of visitors. The Eirô square saw a large crowd, enjoying an animated atmosphere enhanced by excellent weather conditions and a diverse lineup.
The Halloween spirit was present throughout the village, with haunted stalls and street entertainment provided by groups such as «Charanga», «Crazy Loopp», and «Suspensive Mode». The Haunted House was a major new attraction, daring visitors to confront their fears.
A highlight of the night was the “Encenação do Esconjuro e da Queima Diabólica” (The Conjuring and Devilish Burning Reenactment), a ritual rich in symbolism and featuring a fire spectacle that captivated attendees. The festivities continued late into the night with performances by the rock group “Jabalizes” and “DJ Nevven”.
Organized annually by the Parish Council of São Martinho de Anta and Paradela de Guiães, with support from the Municipality of Sabrosa, the event aims to boost local dynamics and promote the village, engaging the community and drawing visitors from across the region.
