The Municipality of Chaves has announced that, starting from October 2nd, the central boarding and alighting stop for the public regular road passenger transport service will be temporarily relocated. The stop, currently located next to the Nadir Afonso Museum of Contemporary Art, will move to the Chaves Bus Station, situated at Largo da Estação.
This provisional change will remain in effect until November 2nd. The modification is necessary to reconcile the transport service's operation with the constraints associated with the traditional Feira dos Santos (All Saints' Fair) of Chaves, particularly the installation of an amusement area. Auto Viação do Tâmega, Lda. has expressed its cooperation for this adjustment.
The Municipality assures that this alteration will not affect the routes of the Chaves Urban Transport (Move Chaves), which will continue to operate normally at their usual stops. The municipal government thanks everyone for their understanding regarding any potential inconveniences caused by this temporary change.
