The initiative, developed in partnership with the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II and the Coletivo Amargo, took place between October 20 and November 2, offering the youngest children an artistic experience designed for early childhood.
Throughout the 20 sessions, the show, recommended for ages 3 and up, invited children to explore themes such as fear and courage on a journey through the maritime universe, conveying the importance of recognizing and facing fears with support.
The reception from the children and educational communities was very positive, with particular emphasis on the enthusiasm and involvement of the 417 students from the municipality's preschool education centers.
Through this action, the Municipality of Ponte de Lima reinforces its commitment to democratizing access to culture, promoting contact with different artistic languages from early childhood.
The Boca Aberta project, developed since 2024 in partnership with the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II, aims to bring children's audiences closer to the performing arts.
