The Municipality of Ponte de Lima keeps applications open for the Livestock Production Incentive Program for 2026, an initiative aimed at supporting and valuing agricultural activity in the county.

The program is aimed at holders of cattle, equine, ovine, caprine, porcine, and apiary farms. The objective is to contribute to the sustainability of livestock farming, the improvement of animal health and welfare conditions, the valorization of native breeds, and the diversification of the rural economy.
Producers with agricultural holdings in Ponte de Lima who comply with the conditions of the Municipal Regulation, including sanitary obligations, animal registrations, licensing, and regularization of tax, contributory, and municipal situations, can benefit from this incentive.
The application document is available on the Municipality's website and can be sent by email to balcaorural@cm-pontedelima.pt or delivered in person at the Gabinete de Atendimento ao Munícipe.
