The intervention covers the administrative territory of the Parish Councils of Cabaços and Fojo Lobal, da Facha, Rebordões de Santa Maria e Navió, and Vitorino dos Piães. The area was affected by the rural fire in Monte da Nó in July 2025, which consumed 931.70ha.
Due to the fire's impact, urgent actions for the recovery and treatment of the forest road network were deemed necessary, based on an emergency stabilization report by ICNF, I.P. The total investment amounts to €26,678.77+VAT.
The road network improvement works are expected to be completed by the end of October.
