On September 24 and 25, researchers, lecturers, professionals, and students gathered at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (ESTG-IPVC) for the XXII AECA International Meeting. The event focused on the challenges posed by digital transformation to Accounting and Management.
Under the theme “Challenges of the Digital Age: AI, Sustainability, and Emerging Competencies in Accounting and Management”, the meeting promoted reflection on the main transformations affecting these areas. The impact of Artificial Intelligence and sustainability on the profession, teaching, and research were central discussion points, in a program that combined debate on the present and future with the presentation of scientific research.
The event also included the awarding of prizes to works distinguished for their quality and scientific contribution, recognizing research developed in the fields of Accounting and Management.
