The Municipality of Caminha continues to carry out maintenance and conservation work on public spaces in various parishes to improve the safety, mobility, and well-being of residents and visitors.

The Municipality of Caminha maintains its commitment to improving the safety, mobility, and well-being conditions for everyone who lives in and visits the municipality. Daily, maintenance and conservation interventions are carried out on public spaces, considered essential for quality of life and the proper functioning of municipal infrastructures.
In recent days, work has focused on the parishes of Âncora, Vila Praia de Âncora, Cristelo, and Caminha. In Vila Praia de Âncora, pavement repairs were made on Sol Posto and Pedro Homem de Melo streets, as well as in the area surrounding the Citizen Support Office, aiming to improve traffic flow and road safety.
In Caminha, Rua da Corredoura saw the unblocking of a rainwater drain, a preventive measure against winter issues. At Largo Sidónio Pais, damaged protective bollards were replaced. The bridge over the Âncora River was also improved due to signs of degradation caused by adverse weather.
In Cristelo, cleaning and unblocking work on the Lampijão watercourse continues. This action, in partnership with the Union of Parishes of Moledo and Cristelo, aims to prevent floods, enhance environmental value, and ensure more effective water resource management.
These maintenance and proximity actions, regularly carried out throughout the municipality, contribute significantly to a safer, more functional, and better-maintained municipality for all its inhabitants.
