The Moita Municipal Council is undertaking a €239,845.91 project to rehabilitate wastewater and rainwater collectors on Avenida 1.º de Maio in Vale da Amoreira, employing no-dig technology.

The intervention aims to ensure the proper functioning of underground infrastructure, crucial for public health and quality of life. The pipes showed pathologies that compromised drainage capacity, prompting the decisive action by the council to guarantee a more reliable and secure public service.
Aware of the high traffic flow on Avenida 1.º de Maio, the Municipality opted for an advanced engineering solution. Rehabilitation is carried out inside the pipes themselves, avoiding significant traffic disruptions, noise, dust, and urban space degradation.
This modern technique ensures urban space preservation and rapid execution, resulting in durable structural reinforcement of the collectors. The investment reaffirms the council's commitment to modernizing essential services with intelligent solutions.
