The Municipality of Moita met with the CCDR LVT and the ACSS to plan the renovation of the oldest health centers in the municipality, aiming to improve operating conditions and attract more professionals.

The Municipality of Moita is following the process of transferring competencies in the area of Health, having held a meeting with representatives from the Commission for Coordination and Regional Development of Lisbon and Tagus Valley, I.P. (CCDR LVT, I.P.) and the Central Administration of the Health System, I.P. (ACSS).
The meeting served to address the need for structural works in the buildings of the three oldest health centers in the municipality: Alhos Vedros, Moita, and Vale da Amoreira. These interventions are considered fundamental to ensure better operating conditions, comfort, and safety for users and health professionals.
The renovation of these spaces will also contribute to creating more attractive conditions for retaining health professionals in the municipality. Investing in the improvement of Health Centers is seen as an investment in the quality of healthcare and the well-being of Moita's population.
