The Local Health Unit Almada-Seixal (ULSAS) marked World Mental Health Day on October 10th with an exhibition of works created by children and young users from the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service (SPIA).

The initiative, promoted by the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service (SPIA) and the Health Reception and Humanization Service of ULSAS, took place in the atrium on the second floor of Hospital Garcia de Orta. Users were able to express their feelings and perceptions about mental health through drawings and written messages.
During the event, young users shared stories, participated in card games with questions and answers, and wrote messages for healthcare professionals, other users, and the general community. The aim was to raise public awareness about the causes and consequences of mental health issues, conveying a message of support and hope.
ULSAS thanked all those involved in the organization and exhibition of the works, reinforcing the commitment to mutual support: "we are here for each other."
