The city of Sines hosted, on September 28, the 13th working meeting focused on common and relevant issues for Intermunicipal Transport Authorities (ATI). The session was attended by Carlos Humberto de Carvalho, President of TML – Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa, and transport entities from across the country.
The meeting was opened by Álvaro Beijinha, President of the Sines Municipal Council, and Rui Ruas, First Secretary of the Intermunicipal Community of Alentejo Litoral (CIMAL). Subsequently, Miguel Calado (CIMAL) presented the work of this ATI in the area of Mobility and Transport.
During the meeting, Catarina Marcelino from TML detailed the current status of various topics, including data updates for the free youth pass, payments to the State, the second generation of contracts, data submission to the State for Incentiva+TP, and the sharing of data from management systems for supply, terminals, and stops. In turn, João de Vasconcelos, also from TML, discussed the management and monitoring of operations through the GO system and the integration of data from other ATIs.
All ATIs emphasized the importance of the Incentiva+TP program for the sustainability and predictability of public transport services nationwide. The need to ensure the continuity and reinforcement of this program was highlighted, and questions regarding the Program Application Report, due by September 30, were discussed.
