This distinction, associated with SENAG 2026 – National Seminar on Water Supply, recognizes the daily work carried out by the Municipality in monitoring, maintenance, control, and management of the water supply system, from its source to consumers' taps.
The awarding of the seal results from compliance with rigorous criteria defined by ERSAR, particularly regarding water quality control, conducting analyses, and adhering to the parametric values established for human consumption.
“"This recognition is a source of pride for the Municipality and, above all, for all the workers who daily ensure the functioning and quality of the public water supply service. It is a continuous effort, often invisible, but essential to guarantee safe and quality water for the residents of Barreiro."
Carlos Guerreiro added that "receiving this distinction again shows that the path we have been taking, of investment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of networks and control systems, is producing results. We will continue to work to ensure an increasingly efficient, resilient public water service prepared for future challenges."
