The event, organized by Magma Studio in partnership with NOVA FCT, took place on October 16th and aimed to facilitate students' access to the job market. Participants like Rita, a master's graduate in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine, expressed hope of meeting their next employer and building connections with companies in her field.
Throughout the day, the 193 bootcampers, predominantly final-year students or recent graduates (74%), engaged in training sessions, presented pitches, and interacted with 160 professionals from various sectors. Companies from banking, consulting, energy, telecommunications, health, industry, and public administration were present, including Fidelidade, Jerónimo Martins, ANA Aeroportos de Portugal, Lusíadas Saúde, EDP, Siemens, Microsoft, Deloitte, REN, and The Navigator Company.
André Palmela from Azeitão Car highlighted the event's importance for talent integration. For many students, such as Carolina Lima and Afonso Jerónimo, the Talent Bootcamp opened new perspectives, allowing them to discover previously unknown professional areas and companies. Afonso Jerónimo described the experience as "one of the best" for getting to know unfamiliar companies and very friendly people.
The 245th edition of the Talent Bootcamp, marking its 15th anniversary, was supported by the student associations and nuclei of NOVA FCT: AE FCT, BEST Almada, In-Nova, NEEC FCT, NEQB, N.INF, and NQA. José Júlio Alferes, Director of NOVA FCT, welcomed the participants.
