The Polytechnic University of Santarém (UPSantarém) is in Târgu Jiu, Romania, participating in the 2nd Annual Congress of the ACE2-EU alliance, taking place from October 28th to 30th.

The event, themed “From Formation to Impact and a Sustainable Future”, brings together the nine universities of the alliance, from nine European countries, at the Constantin Brâncuși University (UCB). Over three days, discussions will cover the past year's activity balance, the alliance's future sustainability, and the path towards legal recognition for a European university.
UPSantarém, which leads the coordination and management of the ACE2-EU alliance, is represented at the congress by its Rector, João Moutão, the General Manager of ACE2-EU, Vânia Fernandes dos Santos, as well as students, staff, and external stakeholders.
The congress program also features cultural exchange moments, including the Kaleidoscope Festival, and the presentation of student work.
