The President of the Municipal Chamber of Póvoa de Varzim, Andrea Silva, was present, highlighting the vitality of this collaborative writing project. The project involves teachers and students in a common goal: the publication of a collection of texts in poetry and prose.
The work will be entirely illustrated by students from the institution's Course of Visual Arts and Graphic Design. The project originated 16 years ago as an annual literary challenge from the School Library of the Rocha Peixoto Secondary School.
It aims to stimulate creative writing and artistic expression within the school community, countering the notion that literature is solely for professional authors and demonstrating that students can express their thoughts and feelings through images and words.
