At the municipal council meeting held on October 20th, it was decided to submit the Draft Regulation for the Recognition of Establishments, Entities, and Trades of Historical and Cultural or Social Interest of the Municipality of Póvoa de Varzim to public consultation.
The aim of this municipal regulation is to establish a framework for the recognition and protection of local historical and cultural or social interest establishments, entities, and activities. These assets, designated as local interest assets, are distinguished by their cultural and heritage dimension, unique characteristics, and contribution to the municipality's identity.
The Draft Regulation is available for consultation on the Municipal Portal and at the Municipal Service Center, Praça do Almada. The public consultation period is 30 working days, starting from October 23rd.
Suggestions, addressed to the President of the Municipal Council of Póvoa de Varzim, must be submitted in writing and can be presented at the Municipal Service Center, sent by postal mail to Praça do Almada, 4490-438 Póvoa de Varzim, or by email to regulamentos@cm-pvarzim.pt.
