Maiambiente participated in the 1st edition of CoolMAIA Finance, an innovative event held on October 16th at the University of Maia campus. Promoted by the university in partnership with the Maia Municipal Council, the meeting aimed to stimulate young people's creativity in areas such as financial management, savings, responsible consumption, and sustainability.
The challenge set by Maiambiente focused on linking efficient waste management with financial savings. Students presented practical proposals with environmental and economic impact, including paper waste reuse, waste separation competitions, organic valorization for school gardens, and food waste reduction through surplus donation.
The company's participation reflects its commitment to environmental education and sustainability, empowering young people for a more responsible future. The initiative involved students, teachers, and partners.
