Lousada leads the national transparency ranking, according to the international platform Dyntra (Dynamic Transparency Index), a non-profit European non-governmental organization. The municipality achieved 100% compliance with the indicators, positioning itself among the most transparent municipalities in the country.
This result places Lousada in an exclusive group of municipalities that fully meet all the criteria defined by the platform. Dyntra's assessment analyzes dozens of indicators related to public information availability, municipal management, citizen participation, economic-financial transparency, public procurement, urban planning, and open data.
Lousada shares this top position with the municipalities of Matosinhos, Cascais, Paços de Ferreira, Carregal do Sal, Ílhavo, and Freixo Espada à Cinta, all of which also achieved the maximum score.
