The first day included reflections on the social sector, awareness-raising on victim support, and activities for seniors. The second day focused on learning and creativity with intergenerational workshops and career exploration, promoting equality and community participation.
Inclusion education marked the third day with initiatives for children and youth, while the meeting “Baião em Rede – Uma Comunidade em Ação” (Baião Network – A Community in Action) emphasized collaboration among social entities. The fourth day centered on the conference “Envelhecer com Proximidade” (Aging with Proximity), addressing the challenges of aging and the rights of the elderly.
The fifth day promoted health and well-being with actions on fall prevention and healthy relationships, alongside the Health Day. The closing, on the Municipal Day for Equality, celebrated cultural diversity with the initiative “Sabores e Saberes que nos Aproximam – Pequeno-almoço em Família” (Flavors and Knowledge that Bring Us Closer – Family Breakfast), gathering participants from 13 nationalities.
The Councilor for Social Cohesion, Health, and Quality of Life, Olívia Mendes, praised the commitment of the Baião Social Network partners, highlighting cooperation and collective commitment. The assembly of the “Coração em Rede” (Heart in Network) symbolized the joint effort.
