The new Wastewater Treatment Plant (ETAR) in Avessadas becomes operational, benefiting the parish of Avessadas e Rosém and part of the parish of Marco. The project had an approximate investment of 2 million euros.
Concurrently, the consignment note was signed for the 2nd phase of the expansion of public water supply and wastewater collection networks in the parish of Avessadas e Rosém. This new phase includes the construction of a water supply system, fed by the Maria Gil reservoir, and a system for collecting and transporting wastewater to the new ETAR.
This undertaking will serve an additional 600 inhabitants and represents an investment of over one million euros.
The Mayor of Marco de Canaveses Municipality, Cristina Vieira, invites the public to the official ceremony taking place on September 28th, at 6 PM, at the Avessadas ETAR itself, located at Rua Herdade da Ponte, in the parish of Avessadas e Rosém.
