On October 17th, the Auditorium of the Dr. António Garção Municipal Library hosted the screening of the documentary Future Council – Get on Board, followed by a debate. The event was attended by the Vice-President of the Sousel Municipal Council, Sílvia Eliseu. The film followed eight children on a journey across Europe, aiming to promote reflection on the planet's future and the role of new generations in addressing climate change.
On October 18th, the Era Uma Voz Association, in Casa Branca, organized the artistic challenge “Collective Mural for the Climate”. This activity was aimed at children and families, encouraging creative expression and collective involvement in environmental issues.
These initiatives were part of a broader program that sought to strengthen dialogue, environmental awareness, and citizen participation in building a more sustainable future for the municipality.
