Over the past few weeks, rehabilitation works have taken place in several playgrounds in the Municipality of Avis, with the objective of improving safety conditions for the children who use these spaces.
At the playground in Avis, next to the Jardim Público, the previous flooring was removed and a new in-situ safety surface was installed. The rope on a play equipment, which had been vandalized, was also replaced.
In the children's area of the Ludoteca Municipal de Avis, as well as in the playground in Benavila, damaged parts of equipment were replaced.
In Ervedal, the flooring was removed and replaced with in-situ safety surfacing. A new rope was also installed, allowing children to use the climbing ramp safely.
These improvements aim to ensure greater protection and safety for the children and young people who enjoy these recreational spaces.
