The Sintra Municipal Council has implemented a new service through the Sintra Resolve app, allowing residents to request the free collection of end-of-life vehicles.

Owners of vehicles no longer in roadworthy condition can now benefit from this free service. To use it, you need to have the latest version of the Sintra Resolve app installed on a mobile device (iOS or Android). After completing and submitting the Voluntary Vehicle Handover form, the Municipal Police will contact you to schedule the collection.
Vehicle abandonment poses a serious risk to the environment and public safety due to the presence of toxic and corrosive components. It also contributes to the degradation of public spaces and reduces the availability of parking.
The Sintra Municipal Council calls for citizen cooperation to join this initiative, aiming for a cleaner, safer, and more organized municipality.
For more information on this service, interested parties can contact the Sintra Municipal Police by calling the toll-free number 800 210 724.
