The new vehicle, now operational, represents an investment of 190 thousand euros made by the Municipality of Sintra, through the Municipal Services of Water and Sanitation (SMAS of Sintra). The equipment is intended for unblocking collectors and cleaning septic tanks, replacing a vehicle with 24 years of service that was no longer viable for repair.
It is a medium-sized piece of equipment, weighing nine tons, suitable for circulating and carrying out interventions in smaller streets. The new vehicle has a circular tank with a capacity of five thousand liters, divided into two thousand liters for clean water and three thousand for dirty water (sludge).
