Throughout the month of October, Sintra's Play Centers are inviting children, young people, families, and the educational community to participate in various free activities designed to foster learning, creativity, social interaction, and sharing.
At the Lopas Play Center, celebrations for its 25th anniversary include creative expression workshops, team games, storytelling, arts and crafts, and group dynamics. Highlights include a foosball tournament on October 17th and the "Magic Cube" team game on October 24th, culminating in a Haunted Halloween Dinner on October 31st.
In Massamá, the focus is on creativity and Halloween, with activities such as the "Disney Desencantada" upcycling workshop, a photobooth, haunted games, and a Story Time session. The month concludes with a themed parade and disco on October 31st.
The Rio de Mouro Play Center offers programs centered on music, creativity, and intergenerational bonding. The schedule includes the "Show Your Talent" talent showcase, the "Acordes de manhã" concert on October 10th, plastic and creative expression workshops, a family sewing workshop, and NETFLIX film screenings on October 31st.
Activities for the educational community, available by prior reservation, include Story Time and Art Space at the Lopas and Massamá centers, and Plastic Expression Workshop in Rio de Mouro.
