Conversations, music, group activities, and campus visits marked this year's edition of the Welcome Day. Throughout the day, participants got to know the University of Lisbon better, explored its spaces, and forged new connections with fellow students.
The day began at the Rectorate of the University of Lisbon with a welcome session and a student discussion, offering an initial opportunity to share experiences about academic life. The morning continued with a performance by the Vicentuna in the Passos Perdidos atrium.
At the University Stadium of Lisbon, participants engaged in ice-breaking activities to meet new people and make friends. Following lunch at the ULisboa Canteen, a bus tour of the campuses allowed students to discover the University's Schools and infrastructure, as well as explore the city of Lisbon.
The day concluded with a social gathering at the Tropical Botanical Garden, a relaxed celebration that capped off a day marked by diversity and community spirit. The Welcome Day served as a first step for new international students to feel part of the ULisboa community from the outset of their academic journey.
