The scholarship recipients are João Arroz Correia Abreu Nunes, Joaquim Afonso Cordeiro Vaz da Costa de Matos, and Matilde Fernandes Vidal. The program aims to identify and support exceptional student talent and foster research initiation in basic sciences, Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
The financial support, which can reach up to 4500 euros annually, includes a development experience with guidance from tutors and a scientific committee, scientific retreats, and workshops. The scholarship value comprises three components: 1000 euros for training and research, 1500 euros for talent enrichment, and 2000 euros for complementary social support for candidates with a household income per capita up to 14,000 euros.
This support enables scholarship holders to attend advanced training courses, participate in conferences and summer schools, undertake internships and language courses, and acquire study and laboratory materials.
NOVA FCSH congratulates the three students on their distinction.
