Organized by the GI TERRiTUR of the Center for Geographical Studies, the initiative featured a diverse program over five days. The event provided moments for debate and knowledge sharing on the different dimensions of tourism, heritage, and culture.
The program included presentations of recent publications, sessions dedicated to doctoral projects, talks, round tables, and a theater session. Topics covered included crisis communication, the transformation of Lisbon's commercial landscapes, sustainable tourism, digital nomad mobility, the relationship between tourism and gender, sound touristification, and the role of events in developing low-density territories.
The initiative concluded with the presentation of the play “CAPITAL”, by the group Tubo de Ensaios, offering a satirical reflection on how cities are lived and experienced by residents and visitors alike.
